1989年入行，先後在香港《晶報》、《天天日報》、《現代日報》及《星島日報》工作，當過突發新聞記者、新聞攝影記者、香港本地新聞記者、中港新聞記者、兩岸新聞記者，還曾主管《星島頭條新聞網》的國際新聞及中國新聞兩個版面，前後從事新聞工作35年。撰寫的新聞及參與的新聞報道曾多次在香港及美國等地的新聞報道競賽中得獎
